Lake View Garden Bar
We start our look at the best beer gardens in the Lake District within walking distance of the Aphrodites Group. The Lake View Garden Bar located on the picturesque banks of Lake Windermere, offering exactly what it says on the sign.
The Ship Inn
Overlooking the nearby marina, the Ship Inn offers traditional pub grub at an affordable price. With some outdoor spaces available, it’s a nice relaxing stop for late lunch before returning to your hot tub spa suite.
Hole in t’Wall
It’s the oldest pub in Bowness and certainly one of the most popular in the region. Set along a country lane, this beer garden in the Lake District gives off all the right vibes of a traditional local British pub.
The Mortal Man
Still relatively nearby, but enough of a hike that you’ll be in need of refreshments. The Mortal Man at Troutbeck are second-to-none. On a clear day, you’ll find yourself surrounded by greenery and calm waters, either side of the valley.
Kirkstone Pass Inn
Another of our pub gardens in the Lake District that’s certainly worth the effort is located upon Kirkstone Pass. Set at 1,500 feet above sea level, you’ll need a head for heights as well a love of local beers!
Masons Arms
In reality, there are far too many incredible local bars and pub gardens in the Lake District to choose from. However, last (but no means least) our current list includes another of our favourites. That of the Masons Arms in Grange-Over-Sands.
